who showed up for our birthday
party last night! With over
75 attending the 4-hour
event, we had a ball with
basketball, dodgeball, pizza,
2 live youth performances,
cake, and more!

BEFORE 5
Join
our friends from the West
Hollywood Teen Center as
they host their "3
on 3 Basketball Tournament"!
The tournament will take
place on the same day as
"We've Got Balls"
and at the same location
(Plummer Park)! This activity
will take place from 11:30am-5:00pm
and is open to youth ages
13-15 & 16-19. There
will be a raffle and a free

cake @ Balls in celebration
of our 2-year b-day, so

Youth
To Honor Abbe Land
The
youth C.I.T.Y. x1 have
chosen Abbe land as the
recipient of the 2007
Torch Award. This award
is presented at every
anniversary party and
recognizes an individual
who has been supportive
of youth services throughout
the previous year.
Abbe
Land is currently a member
of the West Hollywood
City Council and has been
a strong supporter of
youth issues.

Balls", DON'T misbehave,
'cause Momma's gonna be
there and you'll get a spankin'!
Yes, it 's true, Momma is
confirmed for our event.
A strong supporter of youth
issues, Momma will be on
hand to host our recreational
games. The last time C.I.T.Y.
x1 and Momma worked together
was @ the first West Hollywood
Idol contest at LA Pride.
What will happen when we
team up again!? Come by
to find out and enjoy some

attending this year's Sunset
Junction Street Festival!
We
will have our own booth
at the event and will be
promoting our birthday party.
Come by and meet the event
organizers, sign up for
the event's games, and access
all sorts of cool resources
for LGTBQ youth! The festival
will take place on Saturday,
August 18th and Sunday,
August 19th in Silverlake.
Over 60,000 people attend
the event, so don't miss
