The C.I.T.Y. x1 Youth Group is an all-volunteer organization, and as such we regularly reach out to our local community for volunteers support. Send us an e-mail to volunteers@cityx1.com to get placed on our Volunteer List and get updates on upcoming events and special activities.

 

There is plenty to do on the day of our events and we need YOUR help to make it all possible.

SET-UP & TAKE-DOWN
Volunteers are needed for setting up the facilities being used and cleaning up after the event. Set-up usually starts at 2:00pm, unless otherwise stated. Take-down will start as the event concludes (9:00pm).
CHAPERONES
Adult Chaperones are asked to assist with supervision at all of the event's activities. Chaperones also help out with monitoring restrooms, supervising the Parking Lot area, and assisting other Volunteers.
REGISTRATION AREA
Welcome guests, provide general information, sign people up for our E-mail List, register attendees. This area requires very little footwork, so this might fit you if you would prefer to have a "stationed" area.

Important: Someone with access to a laptop needed for this area to help register youth attendees and Volunteers. Ability to track info in either MS Word, Excel, or any compatible word processor.
SERVING FOOD
Volunteers needed to help serve food to the attendees. Directions will be given by Lead Volunteer of this area. All food handlers must wear gloves, which we will provide, while handling food.
Dress Code: There is no particular dress code for the event, however we do ask that Volunteers dress appropriately and wear no offensive materials. Please keep in mind that we will have youth there and we want to portray a positive message from all involved. Casual is fine.
Please note: All individuals who are placed on the Volunteer List for a particular event will receive written confirmation, via e-mail, prior to the event. No walk-ons, no exceptions!
